You pay for the search you're running. There's no subscription and your credits never expire.
Free at signup: 6 credits, no card.
That covers two full evaluations, or one evaluation and a rerun after you revise the resume.
How credits are used
Each step uses one credit: reading the job description, reading the resume and building the report. A full evaluation uses 3. You can save a job to your own computer and load it again to run more resumes against the same target.

Every pack is a one-time purchase. Accounts opened during beta keep these rates for 12 months.
Why it's priced per search
A recruiting desk should be able to try this on one live search without a procurement conversation, and a candidate should be able to check one resume against one job without signing up for a monthly plan. So you buy credits once and spend them when you have something to run.
