How your data is handled
Your resume and job description aren't stored. Here is what is kept, where your data goes and how to have it removed.
What happens to a resume and a job description
When you upload a resume, MPE extracts the text and sends it, together with the job description, to a third-party AI provider to build the report. Both are held only while the evaluation runs. MPE doesn't keep them once the evaluation finishes, and it doesn't sell them or use them to train any model.
What is kept
- Your account. Your email address, so you can sign in, and your credit balance and purchases.
- Reports. The PDF report is kept so you can download it again and share it.
- Report opens. When you share a report link, MPE records when it's opened, and you see that count on your history page.
To run more resumes against the same job later, you can save the job to your own computer and load it again. That file stays with you, not with MPE.
Who can see a report
Only you, until you share it. A shared report sits behind a long random link that can't be guessed, and anyone you send the link to can open it. You can switch off a link from your history page at any time.
Who processes your data
| Provider | What it does for MPE |
|---|---|
| Together AI | Reads the job description and resume text to build the report |
| Groq | Does the same job when Together AI is unavailable |
| Supabase | Holds accounts and reports |
| Stripe | Processes payments. MPE never sees your card number. |
| DigitalOcean | Hosts the site and runs the app |
| HeyCatch | Site analytics, meaning which pages are visited and which buttons are clicked. It doesn't receive resume text. |
If a recruiter ran your resume
The recruiter controls their report and who it's shared with. If you want a report about you removed, ask the recruiter, or email [email protected] and I'll take it down.
Removing your data
Email [email protected] from the address on your account and I'll delete your account and your reports.
